One of the finest birds we have kept.
In Highraven, the ravens keep what the world forgets.
Odin, Delbare, Elstar, and a measure of pear stolen from the Peer Pressure vats — pale gold in the glass, fresh on the nose, with something farmhouse and far-off in the breath. Soft it is, and refined, and smoother than reason would allow. Of all the birds we have kept from that harvest, this one the ravens speak of still. Gone now. Only the name remains on the ledger.
