Sweet Odin, sour Red Love — and a colour like blood held to light.
In Highraven, the ravens keep what the world forgets.
They pressed the sweet Odin against the sour Red Love, two names from the orchard locked in one dark glass. Oak kept them awhile, and when they rose they wore a colour like blood held to the light — clear, bright, unashamed. Soft the sweetness, sharp the parting, rich the body and easy the drinking. The cellar called it the favourite of that year. Drink, and do not ask which god prevailed.
