Our Journey Begins

The Birth of Highraven

Hello everyone, and welcome to the very first post on Highraven’s Updates!

We are thrilled to finally share our journey with you as we embark on this exciting new adventure. Highraven was born out of a deep love for natural, organic food and a passion for fermentation that has been growing for the past five years. What started as a simple experiment in our kitchen has now blossomed into a full-fledged endeavor, and we couldn’t be more excited to take you along with us.

Nanda and I (Marten) have spent countless hours perfecting our craft, from making our first batch of kimchi to developing a diverse range of fermented products like hot sauces, water kefir, ginger beer, and of course, our signature ciders. Each product is a labor of love, reflecting our commitment to quality and sustainability.

Starting Highraven is a dream come true for us. Our mission is to create unique, natural, organic ciders that capture the essence of each season’s harvest. We work closely with local farmers and gardeners here in Hoograven, Utrecht, ensuring that our ingredients are as fresh and diverse as possible. This collaboration means that every batch of our cider is different, offering a new and exciting flavor experience with each bottle.

We are just getting started, but we have big plans for the future. Our first line of ciders is ready to launch, and we can’t wait for you to try them. We believe that the beauty of our products lies in their variability – each sip is a testament to the rich bounty of our region and the dedication of the people who help bring it to life.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. We’re eager to learn, grow, and share our passion with you every step of the way. Stay tuned for more updates, stories, and insights into the world of Highraven.

Cheers to new beginnings!

Marten & Nanda
